Colocation Space

Castle Access EDCs set the standard for Enterprise Grade colocation facilities. Clients can expect only the best in environmental controls and power deployment at all the Castle Access EDCs.

Colocation Space
At a Castle Access EDC, colocation space is completely customizable to meet the client’s specifications. In our two data center facilities we can accommodate from a simple 1/3 cabinet to over 25,000 square feet of private caged space. Castle Access has the power, cooling and expertise to meet any high-density deployment requirement.

Cabinets:
For non-caged space deployments, Castle Access has chosen to deploy the SMC Smart Cabinet II. These cabinets provide keyless access control directly connected to a Web monitoring system. This allows remote monitoring and recording of personnel access to each cabinet door, instant notification of any security breach, and ensures that all door latches are securely fastened. Remote monitoring also provides Web-based management of temperature inside each server cabinet. This helps ensure that our client’s servers are maintained in an optimum operating environment. Monitoring features are available for full cabinets only.

Cages:
Private cage space is fully customizable to meet client specifications. Clients can choose levels of electrical redundancy, space, cage access systems and amount and type of power deployed.

Cage Configuration:
Customers are welcome to deploy their own racks or cabinets inside their cage space, provided they meet Castle Access specifications. Client may elect to use standard Castle Access cabinets or racks (SMC or Wrightline).

Cable Management:
Upon request, Castle Access can install all initial cabling between cabinets.
